There are several support groups and counseling organization in the Philippines, which can help those dealing with the loss of a loved one.

If you are lamenting the death of a loved one who has passed away, counseling can be very helpful in dealing with grief. Many support groups in the country provide Filipinos with counseling, group therapy, and other mental health resources.

The following is a list of support groups you can join to help you in healing from your loved one’s death.

As a non-government organization, The 700 Club Asia is a support group focused on prayer and counseling services. This private group provides free online support, functioning as a safe space for everyone.  They also offer prayer requests for those who are experiencing hardships, such as the death of a loved one.

This group is for women who lost a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or other causes. If you are a mother suffering from the loss of your child, sharing your story with others can be a form of catharsis. This group can become a place for the release of emotions, especially since other members are familiar with the feeling of loss.

Miscarriage/Stillbirth Support Group Philippines is a Facebook-based community that aims to create a secure and welcoming environment for mothers who have lost a child. Members may share their experiences to get support and advice.

The Alzheimer's Disease Association of the Philippines is a group for people who have dementia. Family members and caregivers are also welcome, as well as medical professionals involved in the patient's care. ADAP's purpose is to assist families through educational programs and support services. These aim to improve the quality of life for those afflicted and their loved ones.
